Scientific Clarification: What is Botulinum-derivative peptide?

It is a biological preparation developed in laboratory,  that is injected into specific Muscles and reduces involuntary contraction, a characteristic feature of dystonia. The injections reduce significantly the muscle activity in order to weaken the spasms but without leading to paralysis. It is a complex of proteins produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. A barrier that binds to neuromuscular junction and inhibits the release of acetylcholine thus impairing the transmission of muscle contraction.

Acetylcholine is the neurotransmitter of muscle contraction, the substance that sends a signal to the muscle to contract, as/while the botulinum-peptide complex blocks the transmission of acetylcholine slowing muscle contractions resulting in reduction of wrinkles.
